(Oral) Prayer in this petition is for setting-aside the order dated 20.01.2016 (Annexure P2) passed by the trial Court arising out of a trial in FIR No.10 dated 20.01.2011 registered under Section 306 IPC at Police Station City Rampura, vide which the transcription of the CD taken in custody by the Investigating Officer Ex.P17 was declined. Counsel for the State, on instructions from ASI Jagsir Singh has submitted that the police has already submitted a supplementary challan on 10.05.2018, in which the transcription of the CD has already been attached and the same has been placed on record before the trial Court.

In view of the above, counsel for the petitioner has submitted that since the police has already submitted the transcript version of the CD as part of the supplementary challan, at this stage, this petition may be disposed of having been rendered infructuous as the impugned order dated 20.01.2016 has become redundant in view of the changed circumstances.

Ordered accordingly.
