This is a petition filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking pre-arrest bail in a case registered against the petitioner vide FIR No. 178 dated 25.11.2014 under Section 3(x) of the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Attrocities Act, 1989) IPC at Police Station Moga Sadar, district Moga.

Learned counsel for the State (on instructions from ASI Balbir Singh, who is present in court) submits that pursuant to order dated 09.04.2015, petitioner has joined investigation and is no longer required for custodial interrogation. In view of the above, order dated 09.04.2015 is made absolute subject to the conditions envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
