Learned Sr. DAG submits, on instructions imparted to him, that after a valid demarcation being conducted of the disputed sites by the empowered Revenue Officer concerned, thus a petition for eviction shall be instituted against the encroachers over the land, owned and possessed by the Gram Panchayat concerned.

In view of the above made statement by the learned State counsel, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the petition with liberty aforesaid.

It is clarified that the respondent concerned excepting the seeking of eviction of the encroachers upon the Gram Panchayat land, thus through the institution of a petition under Section 7 of the Punjab Village Common Lands (Regulation) Act, 1961, rather, shall not through any other mode, seek the eviction of the purported encroachers, upon, the lands purportedly owned and possessed by the Gram Panchyat. 6.
