REKHA MITTAL, J. (Oral) Respondent No.2 is not present despite service. Counsel for the petitioner would state that dispute between the parties has been settled and in pursuance thereof, the petitioner and his wife are residing together as husband and wife. Counsel for the State has submitted that the complainant produced before the Investigating Officer a copy of the compromise but the petitioner has not joined investigation in terms of order dated 03.04.2017 allowing interim bail.

Counsel for the petitioner is not in a position to say something in the matter.

In view of the fact that dispute between the parties has been settled by way of compromise and the petitioner and complainant are residing together as husband and wife, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to join investigation within a period of 10 days, failing which the petition shall be deemed to be Mohd.
