The petitioner seeks a direction for providing basic amenities in the Commercial Area of Sector 40-C, Chandigarh. The writ petition was filed in the year 1995.Much water has flown thereafter. Learned Senior Standing Counsel for UT Administration, on instructions, states that all amenities like approach road, parking place, street lights etc. have already been provided in the market area of Sector 40-C, Meenu 2016.10.19 10:32 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document chandigarh

However, if the market area is still lacking any amenity, liberty is granted to the petitioner to represent the concerned Estate Officer, UT, Chandigarh, who shall be obligated to consider such representation within three months and if any deficiency is found in the provision of basic amenities, the needful shall be done within a period of four months thereafter. Disposed of in above terms.
