This is third petition under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure filed on behalf of petitioner (Ranjit Paswan) seeking grant of regular bail in case bearing FIR No.194 dated 11.09.2021 under Sections 120-B, 148, 149, 201 and 302 of the Indian Penal Code, registered at Police Station Ramamandi, District Police Commissionerate Jalandhar. 2.
Custody certificate dated 16.05.2024 of the petitioner is filed by learned State counsel in Court today, which is taken on record, subject to all just exceptions.

CRM-M-10384-2024 -2submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the instant petition at this stage, however, he further prays that keeping in view the custody period undergone by the petitioner, which is approximately three years, as well as the fact that out of the total twenty prosecution witnesses, ten prosecution witnesses already stand examined, by now; a suitable direction may be issued to the trial Court to expedite and conclude the trial in a time bound manner.

Keeping in view the aforesaid submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Further, the trial Court shall make earnest effort to expedite and conclude the trial in the instant case FIR No.194 dated 11.09.2021, preferably within a period of six months, in accordance with law. 5.
