**** Hari Pal Verma, J.(Oral) On April 03, 2017, this Court passed the following order: "Learned counsel for the petitioner makes a statement on behalf of the petitioner accused under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act that the amount of ` 2.20 lacs shall be deposited in this Court on or before 03.05.2017. If, the aforesaid amount is deposited the office shall issue notice of motion to the respondents for 08.05.2017, failure to deposit the aforesaid amount, shall automatically result into dismissal of the petition itself. Proceedings of the trial shall remain stayed till the next date of hearing."

In view of the aforesaid order, the petitioner was required to deposit an amount of ` 2.20 lacs in this Court on or before 03.05.2017 but the said amount has not been deposited by the petitioner as reported by this office on 08.05.2017 and therefore, notice could not be issued. On 14.07.2017 also, no one was present on behalf of the petitioner. Even today, no one is present on behalf of the petitioner.
