!"# $ Present petition has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. seeking grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.74 dated 28.07.2014 registered at Police Station Cheema, District Sangrur under Sections 61/1/85 of the Punjab Excise Act. Vide order dated 10.04.2015 while issuing notice of motion, the petitioner was granted interim bail to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer. It is submitted by learned State counsel on instructions from HC Gurmukh Singh, Police Station Cheema, District Sangrur that the petitioner has since then joined the investigation and nothing incriminating has been found in his possession and that he has no objection if the interim order is made absolute. In the light of the statement made by learned State counsel, the interim bail granted to the petitioner vide order dated 10.04.2015 is made absolute till submission of report under Section 173 Cr.P.C. (challan). Thereafter, petitioner will be permitted to furnish regular bail bonds to the satisfaction of the trial Court. With these observations, the present petition stands disposed off.
