(ORAL) Through this petition, the petitioners seek anticipatory bail in case bearing FIR No.267 dated 09.11.2021, registered under Section 304 IPC, at Police Station Beas, District Amritsar (Rural). As per the Office report, notice to respondent No.2 could not be issued for want of the process fee.

Vide order dated 15.03.2022 passed by a Coordinate Bench of this Court, the petitioners have been granted ad interim pre-arrest bail and directed to join the investigation.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that pursuant to the aforesaid order, the petitioners have joined the investigation. Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Rachhpal Singh, submits that the petitioners have joined the investigation and are now not required for any further investigation. CRM-M-10245-2022 (O&M) -2Since the petitioners have joined the investigation and are no longer required, filing of the process fee is dispensed with. In view of the above, without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is allowed and the order dated 15.03.2022 granting interim bail to the petitioners, is made absolute, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
