The instant petition under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023, has been filed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners in case FIR No.100 dated 24.08.2024, registered under Sections 420 and 120-B of IPC, at Police Station Khilchain, District Amritsar Rural.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have joined the investigation and their custodial interrogation is no more required in this case.

Learned State counsel has not refuted the aforesaid assertions made by learned counsel for the petitioners and, on instructions from ASI Rajwinder Singh, further submits that the petitioners are not required by the police for further investigation or custodial interrogation. In view of the above, without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is allowed and order of interim relief granted by Coordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 15.02.2025 is hereby made absolute subject to the conditions as provided under Section 482(2) of the BNSS, 2023.
