MANJARI NEHRU KAUL, J. (Oral) The present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed for a direction to respondents No.2 and 3 to conduct a fair and impartial investigation in F.I.R. No.11 dated 23.01.2020 under Sections 376/120-B IPC registered at Police Station Maqsudan.

Learned counsel for the petitioner at the outset submits that a direction be issued to the police authorities for taking a decision on the complaint dated 22.01.2020 submitted by the petitioners. Keeping in view the limited prayer addressed by the petitioners, facts and circumstances of the case but without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, it is considered appropriate to dispose of this petition, with a direction to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Jalandhar Rural (respondent No.2) to look into the complaint dated 22.01.2020 (Annexure P1) and take appropriate action as may be required.
