-.- MAHABIR SINGH SINDHU, J. (ORAL) Present petition has been filed praying for protection to the life and liberty of the petitioners, in view of the marriage solemnized by them against the wishes of respondent Nos.3 and 4. Notice of motion.
On the asking of the Court, Mr. Sandeep Kumar, DAG, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of respondent Nos.1 and 2 and two copies of the petition have been supplied to him in the Court. in Court also, duly identified by their Counsel. They apprehend threat to their life and liberty at the hands of respondent Nos. 3 and 4. Therefore, respondent No.2 Senior Superintendent of Police, Sri Muktsar Sahib, is directed to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners, as per law. However, it is made clear that this order may not be construed as expression of an opinion on legality and validity of the marriage of the petitioners.
