RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) In compliance of order dated 21.01.2019, learned counsel for the petitioner has produced receipts of `15,000/-. The same are taken on record.

Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for quashing FIR No.133 dated 05.12.2017 registered under Sections 420, 120-B IPC and Section 24 of the Immigration Act, pertaining to Police Station Chamkaur Sahib, District Rupnagar, Punjab, and all consequential proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise dated 04.03.2018 (Annexure P-2) arrived at between the parties.

Pursuant to order dated 10.10.2018 of this Court, the parties appeared before the trial Court on 22.10.2018 to get their statements recorded. Learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Rupnagar, has submitted his report vide letter bearing No.436 dated RAVINDER SINGH 2019.03.07 09:50 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

-2CRM-M-12376 of 2018 01.11.2018 duly forwarded by learned District and Sessions Judge, Rupnagar, vide Endst. No.13118 dated 03.11.2018. According to the above report, compromise entered into between the parties is genuine, without any pressure or coercion and volunteer.

Therefore, in view of above and the fact that the compromise will bring peace and harmony in relations between the parties, aforesaid FIR No.133 dated 05.12.2017 and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, are quashed.

Disposed of accordingly.
