***** HARKESH MANUJA J. (Oral) Present appeal has been filed against the award dated 15.11.2002 passed by Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Rohtak, vide which, the appellants-claimants were granted a sum of Rs.8,71,000/- as compensation along with interest @ 9% per annum. 2.

The appellants, being the dependents of deceased-Charan Singh, who lost his life in a road accident dated 01.11.1999, has preferred the present appeal against the aforesaid award for enhancement of compensation.

Today, at the time of hearing, learned counsel for respondent No.3-Insurance Company submits that respondent No.3 is ready to pay another sum of Rs.6 lakh over and above the amount already awarded in favour of the appellants, as compensation.

FAO-529-2003 --2-- statement made by learned counsel for respondent No.3 and submits that in case, the increased amount of Rs.6 lakhs is paid within a period of 45 days, the appeal can be disposed of.

In view of the offer made by learned counsel for respondent No.3 and the same having been accepted by learned counsel for the appellants, the appeal is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3Insurance Company to deposit the enhanced amount of Rs.6 lakhs without interest with the executing court within a period of 45 days from today. The rest of the terms of the award shall remain the same. 6.

Disposed of.
