Through the instant petition, the petitioners seek anticipatory bail in case FIR No.225 dated 19.10.2019 registered under Section 379-B(2) of Indian Penal Code, 1860 at Police Station City South, District Moga. On 24.02.2020, this Court passed the following order:- "It is submitted that the petitioners have been named in the FIR lodged under Section 379-B(2) of Indian Penal Code, 1860 on the allegation that both the petitioners alongwith one Vir Bhan Singh @ Pannu came on motorcycle, one of them slapped the complainant and another snatched the mobile phone from the hand of the complainant. Counsel has placed reliance upon the Panchayati Compromise dated 26.12.2019 (Annexure P-2) SAVITA KADIAN 2021.09.09 16:28 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document High Court Chandigarh

Notice of motion for 16.03.2020.

Meanwhile, the petitioners shall join the investigation and would come present as and when called for and in the event of arrest, they shall be admitted to interim bail on their furnishing personal and surety bonds to the satisfaction of Arresting Investigating Officer. They shall also abide by the conditions as specified under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C."

Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Gurcharan Singh submits that the petitioners have joined the investigation and are no longer required for custodial interrogation as the challan has been presented. He has further instructions to submit that the petitioners are not involved in any other criminal case.

In view of the above facts, but without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is allowed and the order dated 24.02.2020 granting interim bail to the petitioners is made absolute, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
