NARESH KUMAR SANGHI, J.(ORAL) Learned counsel for the State, on instructions from ASI Surinder Pal Singh, Police Station, Division No.5, District Jalandhar, submits that the Investigating Agency is near completing the investigation of the present case and the chargesheet is likely to be presented within one month of passing of this order.
Prayer in the present petition is for issuing direction to MEENU 2015.10.15 16:45 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document chandigarh
CRM-M-11517-2015 (O&M) -2respondent Nos.1 and 3 for transfer of the investigation of the case relating to the impugned FIR since the police belonging to Police Station, Division No.5, Jalandhar, has failed to take appropriate action against the nominated accused, i.e. respondent Nos.6 and 7.
Since the learned counsel for the State has specifically stated before this Court that the investigation is almost complete and the charge-sheet is likely to be presented against the nominated accused, therefore, no further order is required to be passed in the present case, at this stage.
Disposed of.
