(ORAL) In the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C., prayer has been made for issuance of direction to respondents No. 2 and 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner and his family members, at the hands of respondent No. 4, who by using his official position is illegally and unnecessarily harassing and threatening the petitioner to implicate him in any false criminal case.
Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the purpose of instant petition would be achieved, if, respondent No. 2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Tarn Taran, is directed to decide representation dated 12.02.2019 (Annexure P-1), moved by the petitioner. In view of the above, respondent No. 2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Tarn Taran, is directed to look into the matter and decide representation Annexure P-1, moved by the petitioner, in accordance with law, by passing a speaking order and after affording an opportunity of hearing to him, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
