******* SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) The present petition has been filed under Section 438 Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners in case FIR No. 139 dated 10.09.2016 registered for offences punishable under Sections 420 read with Section 120-B of Indian Penal Code, at Police Station City-I, Malerkotla, District Sangrur. Heard.
Learned State counsel submits on instructions from HC Harbax Singh that petitioners have joined the investigation and their custodial interrogation is no more required.
Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this petition is allowed and order dated 17.01.2017 is made absolute till the presentation of challan, subject to the following terms:- (i) that petitioners shall make themselves available for interrogation by the police as and when required; (ii) that petitioners shall not, directly or indirectly, make any inducement, threat or promise to any person acquainted Jitender Kumar 2017.03.24 17:01 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document CHANDIGARH
