The present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for directing respondents No.2 and 3 to expedite the investigation and present the challan against the private respondents No.4 and 5 in FIR No.208 dated 15.06.2021 registered under Sections 506, 509, 120-B IPC and Section 67-A of the IT Act, 2000 at Police Station Civil Lines, Patiala, District Patiala. 2.
Learned counsel for the petitioner inter alia contends that the FIR (supra) was registered on 15.06.2021 and even after passing of almost three years, the investigating agency has not concluded the investigation. 3.
Notice of motion.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. Subhash Godara, Addl. A.G., Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice for the official respondents and on instructions from ASI Paras Nath submits that the investigating agency has already concluded the investigation. In view of the above, the grievance raised by the petitioner has been substantially redressed. In case, the needful is not done within a period of three weeks, the petitioner will be at liberty to file a fresh petition and the respondent No.2 would be obligated to explain the delay in concluding the investigation. 6.
