On 19.07.2024, the matter was listed before a Coordinate Bench of this Court. There was no representation of the petitioner. Registry was directed to issue fresh notice to petitioner. 2.
As per office report, service upon petitioner is complete. 3.
From the perusal of record, it appears that the petitioner was terminated on 07.07.1996 and impugned award was passed on 23.09.1999. He was awarded compensation of Rs.20,000/-. He had worked with respondent for 41⁄2 years. The claim of respondent is that the petitioner abandoned the job.
