(Oral) The instant petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., inter alia seeking issuance of direction to respondents No.2 to 4 for initiation of appropriate action against respondents No.5 to 10, in view of the orders dated 02nd November, 2020, of this Hon'ble High Court, passed in CRWP No. 8987 of 2020, titled as, "Jasleen Arneja and another Vs. State of Punjab and others" to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner at the hands of private respondents.

It has been inter alia contended by the learned counsel for the petitioner that even though this Court while disposing of CRWP No. 8987 of 2020, had directed respondent No.2 - Senior Superintendent of Police, SAS Nagar (Mohali), to look into the representation dated 26.10.2020 qua the threats being faced by petitioner at the hands of private respondents. However, the authorities concerned had still not initiated any action against the private respondents.

CRM-M-11197-2021 (O&M) - 2 - While disposing of CRWP No. 8987 of 2020, in view of the limited prayer made by the petitioner, this Court had directed respondent No.2 - Senior Superintendent of Police, SAS Nagar (Mohali) had been directed to look into the representation dated 26th October, 2020 and thereafter, if required, take necessary steps to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner.

In case the petitioner is aggrieved to any inaction on the part of respondent No.2, there are alternative remedies available to the petitioner under the law, which he may resort to. No ground is thus made out to issue any directions as sought for.

Petition stands dismissed accordingly.
