Mr.Kirat Singh Sidhu,DAG Punjab Jaswant Singh,J(Oral) Prayer is under Section 438 Cr.PC read with Section 482 Cr.PC for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner-Jiwan Kumar @ Gola in complaint no.236 dated 22.7.2014 for offences punishable under Sections 3(1)x of the SC/ST Act and under Sections 323,506,365 and 34 IPC, pending in the court of JMIC,Barnala. Complainant-Gurdeep Singh is a building contractor and he has made allegations that the present accused and co-accused Sukhchain had come at the construction site at about 3.30 pm on 19.7.2014 and gave him beatings while passing castiest remarks in front of the labourers on account of the allegations of stealing cement from the shop of the accused party.

CRM-M 12601/2016 It was contended that false allegations have been levelled regarding castiest remarks on account of the dispute between the parties.
Vide order dated 12.4.2016 while issuing notice of motion it was directed that in the event of surrendering before the trial court within 10 days, petitioner be released on interim bail. At the time of hearing today,learned counsel states that in compliance of the said order, petitioner surrendered before the trial court on 19.4.2016 and was released on interim bail. In view of the above interim bail granted by the trial court, pursuant to the order dated 12.4.2016, is made absolute. Disposed of.
