R.P. Nagrath, J. (Oral) Prayer in the instant petition is made for grant of prearrest bail under Section 438 Cr.P.C. in FIR No. 21 dated 31.01.2015 for offences under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471 and 120-B of Indian Penal Code (IPC), registered at Police Station Sadar, Amritsar.

Learned State counsel on instructions from HC Manjit Singh submits that on investigation cancellation report has since been prepared, which is pending decision by the Senior Superintendent of Police. It is further submitted that petitioner no. 3 is not required for further investigation.

In view of the above, the instant petition is allowed and in the event of arrest of petitioner no. 3, he shall be released on bail by the Arresting/Investigating Officer.
