Writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution inter alia for quashing of the show-cause notice dated 21.06.1996 (P-8).

In pursuance of order dated 30.01.2024, intimation was sent to the sole petitioner and office report dated 03.09.2024 reads as under: - "Notice issued to petitioner has received back unserved with the report that he is retired in 2003."

Case called twice, but no one has come forward on behalf of the petitioner, nor he is appearing in person.

As a result thereof, there is no option except to dismiss the petition for non-prosecution.

Ordered accordingly.
