The prayer made in the present petition is for re-fixing the salary of the petitioner, working on the post of Master Been Player in the pay scale of Rs.5000-7850/- per month, which is granted to Been Vadak performing the same duties.

Learned counsel, on instructions from the petitioner, submits that her case may be directed to be considered in light of the judgment passed by this Court in Majid Khan vs. State of Haryana and others, CWP-176171999, decided on 09.08.2010, wherein it was directed to refer the case to Pay Anomaly Committee, which would decide the matter after going through various factors, the same was granted to the petitioner therein vide order dated 05.04.2017.

Learned State counsel has no objection to the limited prayer made.

In view of the above and without commenting upon the merits of the case, this petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to the respondents HAMANT 2024.08.01 10:34 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment

CWP-2049-2000 to consider and decide the claim of the petitioner, within a period of six months which this Court has no reason to believe the authorities would not address in a just, fair and reasonable manner. Upon doing so, after notice and hearing offered to him and if found entitled, grant the benefit forthwith. Needless to say, if the orders are adverse to his interest, the same shall contain reasons and the petitioner shall be free to seek legal redress thereupon.
