Petitioner seeks grant of anticipatory bail under Section 438 Cr.P.C. in case bearing FIR No.13 dated 31.01.2020 registered under Section 22, 27 of NDPS Act (Offence under Section 29 of NDPS Act added later on) at Police Station Tanda, District Hoshiarpur.

Notice of motion was issued on 10.03.2021 on the premise that the petitioner was implicated on the basis of disclosure statement of co-accused. Interim anticipatory bail was also granted to the petitioner.

CRM-M No. 11085 of 2021 -2Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Narinderpal Singh submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation and even challan has been submitted. With filing of challan, presence of the petitioner is not required for further investigation in the case. In view of above, order dated 10.03.2021 is hereby made absolute.

However, the petitioner shall keep on appearing before the trial Court regularly.
