R.P. Nagrath, J. (Oral) Prayer in the instant petition is for grant of anticipatory bail under Section 438 Cr.P.C. in FIR No. 146 dated 21.06.2014 for offences under Sections 379, 447, 427, 148, 149 and 506 of Indian Penal Code (IPC), registered at Police Station Sultanwind, Amritsar. Learned State counsel on instructions from HC Surjit Singh submits that petitioner has joined the investigation on 04.05.2015 and is stated to be no more required for further investigation.

The case of the petitioner is similar to the prayer made for pre-arrest bail in the same FIR by Kashimir Singh and another in CRM-M-31817 of 2014, which was allowed on 23.09.2014. In view of the above, the instant petition is allowed and the interim bail granted vide order dated 20.04.2015 is made absolute. The petitioner shall also abide by the restrictions contained in Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.
