***** GURVINDER SINGH GILL, J.(Oral) Today, at the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he restricts his prayer for issuance of a direction for protection of life and liberty of the petitioner as he apprehends threat to the same at the hands of private respondents, who had allegedly assaulted him on earlier occasions regarding which FIRs are already pending. Having considered the aforesaid submission, the instant petition is disposed off with a direction to respondent No.3-Senior Superintendent of Police, District Fatehgarh Sahib to look into the matter and to get the alleged threat perception of the petitioner examined. In case, the apprehension of the petitioner as regards threat to his life and liberty is found to be well founded, then necessary steps be taken to ensure that no harm is caused to the petitioner in any manner.
