SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) This petition is for seeking protection of life and liberty of petitioners, who alleged to have married against the wishes of respondents No. 4 and 5, parents of petitioner No.1.

Learned counsel for the petitioners has limited his prayer for taking appropriate action in accordance with law on the representation dated 03.04.2017(Annexure P-5) submitted by petitioner No.1 to Senior Superintendent of Police, Kapurthala. It has been stated that both the petitioners are major. The date of birth of petitioner No.1-Anu is 05.02.1993 as per copy of Aadhar Card (Annexure P-1) and year of birth of petitioner No.2-Harsh Kumar is 1985 as per copy of Aadhaar Card (Annexure P-2). They got married on 03.04.2017 Photographs of marriage are Annexure P-3. In view of the submission of learned counsel for the petitioners, but without expressing any opinion on the validity of marriage of petitioners, petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Kapurthala to look into the representation dated Sachin Mehta 2017.04.06 14:44 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document HIGH COURT, CHANDIGARH
