(Oral) Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this petition has been rendered infructuous as the petitioner has since been acquitted in FIR No. 28 dated 10.03.2016 under Section 376(D) IPC and Section 4 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 registered at Police Station Dehlon, District Ludhiana.
