(ORAL) Feeling aggrieved against the alleged inaction on the part of respondent authorities, petitioners have approached this Court, by way of instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that before filing the present petition, petitioners could not approach the competent authority, i.e. the Senior Superintendent of Police, Patialarespondent No.3 because of inadvertence. He further submits that given an opportunity, petitioners shall approach respondent No.3 within a period of two weeks from today and he may be directed to consider and decide the same, within a reasonable time. Criminal Misc.M-11783 of 2015 Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, lest it should prejudice the rights of either of the parties, the Senior Superintendent of Police, Patiala-respondent No.3 is directed that if the petitioners approach him by moving an appropriate representation within a period of two weeks from today, he shall consider and decide the same, at an early date by passing an appropriate order thereon, strictly in accordance with law, but in any case within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a representation from the petitioners.

With the abovesaid observations made and directions issued, present petition stands disposed of.
