 CM Nos. 1049-LPA-2022 & 551-LPA-2022 For the reasons mentioned in the applications, delay in filing the appeal is condoned. Both the applications stand disposed of. Main appeal The appellants have filed this appeal against the impugned orders dated 20.08.2019 and 17.12.2021 passed by the learned Single Judge whereby the petition filed by the petitioner Sukhdeep Kaur (respondent herein) as well as the application for modification of the order dated 20.08.2019 were disposed of with certain directions. 2.

Learned counsel appearing for the appellant-Union of India refers to the order dated 17.12.2021 passed by the learned Single Judge whereby the earlier order dated 20.08.2019 was modified. His grievance is that this post on which the respondent is working is governed by the policy decision dated 22.09.2003 (Annexure P-8) and in the order dated 17.12.2021 passed by the learned Single Judge it has been ordered that RAVINDER KUMAR 2024.01.25 16:28 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

After hearing learned counsel for the parties, the order dated 17.12.2021 passed by the learned Single Judge is modified to the extent that the respondent can continue on contractual basis as per the policy decision dated 22.09.2003 (Annexure P-8).

With this modification and the observations made, the appeal stands disposed of. Pending applications, if any, stand disposed of.
