(ORAL) The petitioner, through the instant petition under Section 407 read with Section 482 Cr.P.C., is seeking transfer of petition under Sections 12 and 17 to 23 of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005, titled as "Jatinder Kaur vs. Parvinder Singh and others" bearing No. COMA/29/2019 dated 28.3.2019 from the Court of JMIC, Faridkot to any court of competent jurisdiction at Malerkotla.

Learned counsel for the parties are ad idem that petition under D.V.Act, pending in the court of JMIC, Faridkot, may be transferred to any court of competent jurisdiction at District PARAMJIT KAUR SAINI 2023.03.24 17:30 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

The petition is allowed with following directions :- (v)The Case No. COMA/29/2019 dated 28.3.2019 under Sections 12 and 17 to 23 of D.V.Act, titled as "Jatinder Kaur vs. Parvinder Singh and others" pending in the Court of JMIC, Faridkot, is ordered to be transferred to the competent Court of jurisdiction at Sangrur (At present District Judge of Malerkotla is at Sangrur).

(vi)The JMIC, Faridkot is directed to transfer record pertaining to the aforesaid case to District Judge, Sangrur.

(vii)The District Judge, Sangrur will assign the said petition to the competent Court of jurisdiction. (viii)The parties are directed to appear before the District and Sessions Judge, Sangrur on 20.04.2023 at the first instance and thereafter as directed by said Court.
