The instant petition has been filed on behalf of the petitioner seeking grant of regular bail in respect of aforementioned FIR. 2.

As per complainant-Mandeep Singh, petitioner-Kalu Singh who was armed with a 'kirpan' along with Sukhi @ Dhadu, Chamkaur Singh, Jaggi and Rani Kaur who were all carrying 'kirpan' and 'daa', attacked him on 31.12.2021 and caused injuries to him. 3.

Opposing the petition, learned State counsel submitted that he has no information regarding any compromise. It has been submitted that the petitioner is a seasoned criminal having been involved in a large number of cases. It has also been informed that investigation stands concluded and challan has been presented and in fact charges have also been framed though no PW has been examined till date. 5.

Mr. Ravi Kumar, Advocate, appearing on behalf of the complainant is present and has endorsed the factum of compromise and has stated that he has no objection in case the petitioner is granted bail. 6.

In view of the aforestated position wherein this Court finds that investigation already stands concluded and the matter otherwise has been compromised, further detention of the petitioner would not be justified.
