(ORAL) By way of present petition filed under Section 482 CrPC, prayer has been made for issuance of direction to respondents to let the petitioner continue with the treatment at his own expense from Fortis Escort, Hospital Majitha Verka Bypass road, Amritsar. 2.

The petitioner has been implicated in the FIR bearing No.199 dated 09.09.2023 registered under Sections 21/61/85 of NDPS Act, P.S. City Moga. Earlier, the petitioner approached this Court by way of CRM-M-3283-2024 titled as "Naseeb Singh Vs. State of Punjab and Others" which came to be disposed of vide order dated 23.01.2024, the same is reproduced hereunder:- "1.

Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner, but without commenting anything as regards merits of the case or as regards veracity of averments made in the petition, the instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3 - The Superintendent Jail, Central Jail, Sri Goindwal Sahib, District Tarn Taran to ensure that the requisite medical treatment, if required by the petitioner, is made available to him. It is further clarified that in case any specialized treatment is required or advised by the doctor concerned, then requisite arrangement shall be made for the same. 2.

A copy of this order be sent to respondent No.3 - The Superintendent Jail, Central Jail, Sri Goindwal Sahib, District Tarn Taran for necessary compliance."

By way of present petition, the petitioner raises the grievance that he intends to continue with his treatment from the private hospital, detailed hereinabove, at his own expense. 4.

Mr. Kewal Singh, Addl. A.G. Punjab accepts notice on behalf of respondent-State.

Learned State counsel submits that though, the petitioner is being provided with the best of medical assistance from Government Hospital at Goindwal Sahib, District Tarn Taran, however, in case, the petitioner intends to continue with the treatment at Fortis Escort, Hospital Majitha Verka Bypass road, Amritsar, the jail authorities would assist him in this regard.

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the jail authorities, Sri Goindwal Sahib, District Tarn Taran to help the petitioner so as to allow him to continue with the treatment from Fortis Escort, Hospital Majitha Verka Bypass road, Amritsar by making necessary arrangements as regards video conferencing with the doctors of Fortis Escort, Hospital Majitha Verka Bypass road, Amritsar and also to take him there in case, the doctors want to examine him physically.

In view of the aforesaid, the present petition stands disposed of.
