ARVIND SINGH SANGWAN J. (Oral) Counsel for the petitioners submits that this contempt petition survives only qua petitioner No.3 Kuldip Raj Malhotra. Counsel for the State, on instructions from Sarabjit Kaur, Senior Assistant, Irrigation Department, submits that the Accountant General, Punjab has approved the revised pension and the same is pending with the office of Chief Secretary and the arrears will be released within a period of 08 weeks from today. Accordingly, the present petition is disposed of having been rendered infructuous granting liberty to the petitioner to revive this petition, if so advised.
