  RA-CW-81-2025 (O&M) The present review application has been filed under Order 47 Rules 1 and 2 read with Section 114 and 151 of Code of Civil Procedure praying for review of the order dated 16.10.2024 passed in CWP-5488-2022 (O&M) and other connected petitions.

Heard learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the respective parties.

The third paragraph falling at page No.2 of the impugned order be now read as under:- "Counsel for the respective parties are ad idem that the controversy involved in the present set of petitions is squarely covered by the judgment dated 12.03.2024 passed by this Court in a batch of writ petitions including CWP-2626-2018 titled as "Greater Mohali Area Development Authority Through its Estate Officer versus Permanent Lok Adalat (PUS) and another" except to the extent that a compound interest had been awarded in the aforesaid judgement whereas simple interest @ 12% per annum has to be awarded in the present case. They further submit that they have no objection in case the present writ petitions are disposed of in terms of the said judgment subject to the rate as awarded in the present case to the respondent(s)."

Accordingly, the present review application stands allowed to that extent only.
