(Oral) Prayer in this petition is for grant of regular bail to the petitioner, in a case arising out of FIR No. 70 dated 15.07.2015, registered at Police Station Sadar Sunam, Distt Sangrur, who has been booked for having committed the offence punishable under Section 376 IPC. Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Sanjeev Kumar has informed the Court that the prosecutrix has died during the pendency of the trial and she even did not appear before the trial Court. Learned State counsel further submits that out of 16 prosecution witnesses, 05 have been examined.

Heard.

Petitioner is in custody since 09.08.2016 Keeping in view the fact that the trial is likely to take some time to conclude, the present petition is allowed.
