Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner restricts his prayer in this writ petition for modification in the schedule of payment of the amount of `8,14,249/- as mentioned in para 17 of impugned award dated 12.02.2020 (Annexure P3) passed by the Permanent Lok Adalat (PUS), Rohtak. The petitioner has been directed to deposit a sum of `6,76,157/- out of the abovesaid amount within two days of the order and the respondents were directed to restore the electricity connection the next day. Remaining amount of `1,38,092/- was directed to be deposited within one week of the restoration of OMKAR SINGH 2020.02.27 10:20 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document High Court, Chandigarh

It is submitted that the amount to be deposited by the petitioner be rescheduled and some more time be afforded to him to deposit the same. Notice of motion.

Mr. Ashish Yadav, Addl.AG, Haryana accept notice on behalf of respondents No.1 and 2. Advance copy stands supplied. Keeping in view the limited prayer addressed, it is considered just and expedient to direct that in case the petitioner deposits 50% of the amount of `8,14,249/- within three days, electricity connection to the premises in question be restored on the next day. Remaining 50% of the said amount shall be deposited by the petitioner within ten days of the restoration of the electricity connection.

Needless to say, in case the petitioner does not make the necessary deposits as above, respondents are well within their rights to take necessary steps in accordance with law.

With the said modification in the schedule of payment in award dated 12.02.2020, this writ petition is disposed of . ( LISA GILL ) February 25 , 2020.
