HARINDER SINGH SIDHU, J Prayer in the instant petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C is for issuing directions to respondent Nos.1 to 4 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner besides providing adequate security. The petitioner is a General Power of Attorney holder of Bhupinder Singh Mangat. Said Bhupinder Singh Mangat is real brother of the husband of respondent No.5. There is a matrimonial dispute between respondent No.5 and her husband. The petitioner states that he has nothing to do with the said dispute but despite that he is being repeatedly called to the police station and is being harassed.
Learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer at this stage to the extent that a direction be issued to the respondents that if the petitioner is required in connection with investigation in any case, the respondents should resort to the provisions as contemplated in the Cr.P.C.
