(Oral) Prayer in this petition is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner, in a case arising out of FIR No.31 dated 03.03.2016, registered at Police Station Women, Sector 17, Chandigarh, who has been booked for having committed the offences punishable under Sections 406, 498-A IPC.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has made an offer of `5 lacs towards full and final settlement. Moreover, the payment of maintenance of `4,000/- per month is being paid by him under Section 125 Cr.P.C. to the wife and child.

CRM-M-13047-2016 (O&M) -2Saima Thakur (complainant-respondent No.2), who is present in Court, does not accept this offer and does not dispute the fact that `4,000/- is being paid.

In view of the totality of the facts and circumstances of the case, order dated 18.04.2016, passed by this Court whereby the ad-interim anticipatory bail was granted to the petitioner is made absolute. The petitioner shall continue to join the investigation as and when required to do so and abide by all the conditions as envisaged under Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.
