Mr.Kirat Singh Sidhu,DAG Punjab with DSP Pawanjit Jaswant Singh,J(Oral) Prayer is for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.1 dated 19.2.2016 under Sections 7,8,13(2) of PC Act,PS Vigilance Bureau, Ludhiana, District Ludhiana.

Allegation of complainant Swaran Singh is that co-accused Patwari Jagroop Singh had demanded a sum of Rs.5000/- as bribe money for effecting an entry regarding an equitable mortgage in the revenue record qua his land. Said Jagroop Singh is alleged to have asked the complainant to talk to the present accused Gurpreet Singh for facilitating such a transaction. Present accused is also alleged to have been found sitting in the cabin of said Patwari. It was contended that petitioner had already joined investigation and nothing was to be recovered from him as the main accused Jagroop Singh was caught red handed and money recovered.
