Present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, inter alia, for issuance of direction to respondents for granting the benefit to petitioners in respect of judgment dated 22.03.2018 (P-9) passed by this Court in CWP No. 22834 of 2013, titled "Nirmal Singh and others Vs. State of Punjab and another", whereby the similarly situated employees (petitioners therein) were granted the pay scale(s), as sought by the present petitioners.

Learned State Counsel produced a copy of order dated 12/17.11.2020 (in Punjabi) passed by the Office of Director, Agriculture, Punjab and submitted that the grievance of petitioners has been redressed. On the other hand, learned counsel, on instructions from petitioners, wishes to withdraw the present petition with liberty to challenge the aforesaid order.

Permitted to do so.
