The petitioners, being the senior citizens, are the father and the mother of respondent No.4. Respondent No.5 is the wife of respondent No.4.

It is averred that on account of the conduct of respondent No.4, the petitioners had disowned him. Thereafter, respondents No.4 and 5 are living separately and had no connection or concern whatsoever with the petitioners. However, respondent No.4 has been harassing the petitioners and extending threats to them and respondent No. 5 is threatening to involve them in domestic violence and dowry case with a view to grab their property. Learned counsel for the petitioners states that in this regard, the petitioners have already made representation (Annexure P-1) to respondent No.3 but no action has been taken thereon. He further states that at this stage, he would be satisfied, if a direction is issued to respondent No.3 to look into the representation (Annexure P-1) and take action in accordance with law.
