Main case Prayer is for grant of regular bail in case FIR No.113 dated 10.12.2021 under Sections 324,323,148,149 IPC (Section 326 IPC added later on) registered at P.S Lakho Ke Behram, District Ferozepur. Allegations against the petitioner are that he armed with a kapa hit the complainant on his head and the middle finger of left hand. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the matter has been compromised with the complainant and an affidavit of the complainant has been annexed with the application. He submits that a petition for quashing of the FIR on the basis of compromise would be filed in this respect shortly. Without commenting anything on the merits of the case and also bearing in mind the fact that the trial is not likely to be concluded in near future, in my opinion, no useful purpose will be served by detaining the petitioner behind bars any further. The petition, as such, is accepted. The petitioner Bohar Singh is ordered to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds/surety bonds to the satisfaction of learned trial Court/Chief Judicial Magistrate/Duty Magistrate concerned.
