Learned counsel for the petitioner relies on order dated 16.3.2015 passed by this Court in CRM-M-8413 of 2015 (Sangam @ Rahul Vs. State of Punjab and another), wherein this very FIR is being sought to be quashed on the basis of compromise arrived at between the parties.

Learned counsel for the State, on instructions from ASI Gurinder Singh, Police Station Cantt. Jalandhar, submits that since AMIT KUMAR 2015.04.25 13:41 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document

Criminal Misc. No. M-12084 of 2015 (O&M) the allegations levelled against the petitioner are serious in nature, he is not entitled for the concession of bail pending trial. However, so far as factum of compromise is concerned, he could not deny the same and rightly so, because it was a matter of record. Having heard the learned counsel for the parties and keeping in view the peculiar facts and circumstances of the case, particularly the abovesaid order dated 16.3.2015 passed by this Court, present petition is allowed. Petitioner is directed to released on bail pending trial on his furnishing adequate bail bonds/surety bonds to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate/Duty Magistrate, Jalandhar.

Disposed of, accordingly.
