The prayer in the present petition is for setting aside the Syndicate Decision dated 27.05.2019, Fact Finding Inquiry Report dated 20.08.2020 and Syndicate Decisions dated 21.09.2020 and 13.03.2023, whereby the petitioners have been found to be responsible for the loss caused to the University.

Learned counsel for the respondent-University submits that as of now a show cause notice has been issued by the Registrar and once the reply thereto is submitted by the petitioners, it would be sent back to the Syndicate for taking a final decision thereon. 3.

On the other hand, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that there are certain documents that are not being supplied, as mentioned in Annexure P-16, for them to file reply to the notice, to which, learned counsel for the University states that it will be done within a period of two days.
