**** ANITA CHAUDHRY, J (ORAL) Through the instant petition, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in case FIR No. 179 dated 8.11.2014, registered under Sections 406, 498-A, 313 IPC, Police Station City Batala, District Gurdaspur.
Petitioner has joined the investigation. The FIR has been lodged after nine years of marriage. Maintenance of Rs. 35,000/- per month has been allowed to the wife in the proceedings launched under Section 125 Cr.P.C. Anticipatory bail had been allowed to the parents. Counsel for the petitioner states that the articles had been returned and he refers to Annexure P-7.
