The present revision petition has been filed challenging the order dated 15.02.2024 dismissing the application filed by the petitioner herein for granting interim custody of the minor child to her for attending the wedding of her brother (child's mama). Admittedly, the last function is today and that too in Jaipur.

In view of the fact that the last function is today and that too in Jaipur, learned counsel for the petitioner states that he does not wish to press the present revision petition. He, however, prays that since the application for interim custody of the child is pending before the Family Court, any observation made in the impugned order dated 15.02.2024 be not treated as an expression of opinion on the merits of the case and that the application for interim custody of the child be decided independently. In view of the above, the present revision petition is disposed off as not pressed on merits. However, it is clarified that any observation made in the impugned order dated 15.02.2024 shall not be treated as an expression of opinion on the merits of the case and that the application filed by the petitioner herein for interim custody of the minor child, which is pending before the Family Court, shall be decided independently and uninfluenced by the observations made in the impugned order. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off.
