This petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure is for issuance of direction to respondent Nos.2 and 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners and further to ensure that they may not be harassed by respondent Nos.4 to 9.

This petition is being disposed of by giving liberty to the petitioners to approach respondent Nos.2 and 3, for protection, as per the instructions dated 10.08.2010 issued by the Home Department, Punjab, who will look into their representation dated 05.04.2017 (Annexure P-5). Notice under 160 Cr.P.C. of 7 days be given in case any FIR is registered against the petitioners.
